Coral contacted me on Friday May 19th stating that she and David were tying the knot that following Friday in the heart of Washington D.C. and wanted me to document their elopement at the War Memorial. Of course I was thrilled and so happy to be available. I love elopements and being a part of something so intimate between a couple. Being 1 of 4 people present for their ceremony was such a great honor.
After their ceremony we spent time at the monument then headed down to the reflecting pool for a few minutes right at sunset. Somehow, among the crowds of prom goers and tourists, it still felt as if we were they only 3 people there. C+D, I know you two will continue to share an amazing life together as you venture into this new partnership and soon become a family of 3! Your commitment to each other and this sweet little boy you’re about to bring into the world was created with so much love and will be forever unbreakable. Thank you both for having me there to document this chapter in your story.
