Can I introduce you to another venue in my series? Meet: London Town & Gardens!

The Historic London Town & Gardens is one of those venues that feels timeless the moment you arrive.
Like you’re swept away in your favorite book. Nestled along the South River, this property blends rich Maryland history with sweeping waterfront views and beautifully maintained gardens.
As a Boston wedding photographer, I love any excuse to photograph here.
The variety of backdrops makes every gallery feel layered, elegant, and full of movement. Make sure you click here to look at their website and see all the features for yourself.

The ceremony space is one of my favorite things about this venue.
Most couples say “I Do” on the lawn overlooking the water, framed by lush greenery. I mean, does it get any more photogenic than that?!
Guests typically sit beneath tall trees while the couple exchanges vows on a raised wooden platform. The river quietly stretches behind them, creating this really profoundly peaceful and intimate setting.
Equally organically grand, and still private.

Beyond the lawn, the historic William Brown House offers classic brick architecture and white trim that photographs beautifully in every season. The sloping lawn down to the dock provides another stunning portrait location. Think: wooden pilings, gentle waves, and a distant shoreline.
There are so many reasons couples are drawn to this venue:
- Waterfront ceremony views along the South River
- The 18th century historic home full of character
- Lush gardens and mature trees throughout the property
- A dock that creates romantic, coastal inspired portraits
- Seamless indoor and outdoor flow for cocktail hour and reception
If you’re a Baltimore couple getting married, I really recommend checking out this space.
I’ve had the privilege of photographing multiple weddings here, and the day just feels so magical every time.

The reception spaces at London Town & Gardens are also versatile and gorgeous.
Guests can gather beneath a tent or on the covered deck, mingling as the sun lowers over the water. It feels inviting and warm no matter where you host your party.
From the elegant brick terraces to the quiet garden paths, Historic London Town & Gardens offers endless opportunities for gorgeous images. Not to mention the feeling on the day-of is truly elevated.
It is a venue that tells a story at every turn, and it is always a joy to document celebrations here.
