This intimate fall celebration at Woodberry Kitchen in Baltimore was one for the books! I have been so excited to share it here on the blog. The couple was absolutely wonderful, and brought so much authentic JOY to the day. As a wedding photographer, this makes my job so much easier!
But I also have been so excited to feature the day because their day was the perfect example of leaning into your venue selection!
I know Woodberry Kitchen is a popular Baltimore wedding venue. If you’re considering it for your big day, this post is for you!

Basically, if you are planning a wedding in Baltimore right now, I need you to know about this venue.
Located in Baltimore’s historic Clipper Mill neighborhood, Woodberry Kitchen offers a setting that is equally both industrial and inviting. Seriously: it’s a vibe!
The surrounding brick buildings, oversized factory windows, and pockets of autumn color created an incredible backdrop for portraits before the ceremony.
This couple embraced the entire aesthetic perfectly.
The bride wore a romantic gown with delicate floral embroidery and soft blush details, while the groom’s blue suit and pale pink tie added that fresh, modern touch. Her colorful bouquet tied everything together with vibrant blooms that stood out against the venue’s historic architecture.

One of the things that makes this venue so popular is its versatility. Throughout the day, we moved between outdoor portrait locations and indoor spaces filled with texture and warmth.
Inside: the exposed brick walls, soaring ceilings, and abundant natural light creates such a welcoming atmosphere for the ceremony and reception.
The ceremony space transforms with lush greenery and vibrant floral installations. Every corner offers a unique backdrop for photographs, which I LOVE as a Baltimore wedding photographer, of course!!
This day itself felt so relaxed and unscripted. There were moments of laughter, a few last-minute pivots, and plenty of genuine emotion. I was on cloud 9 being there to capture it all.

This bride and groom chose to lean into the wild florals to compliment the industrial vibe of the venue. It felt like we had stepped into a fairy tale world.
Truly, Woodberry Kitchen offers some of the most whimsical vibes of any venue in the city.
From the dramatic wildflower installation around their altar, to the long tables with mismatched jars of flowers… they so seamlessly blended their decor with the venue. They had a vision, and it was brought to life perfectly!

If you’re planning a Baltimore wedding and searching for a venue with ALL THE historic charm, while maintaining the industrial character… Woodberry Kitchen remains one of the most distinctive options in the city.
